They say timing is everything, and our story is proof of that. We first met in high school, where Karla was the student body president and Joeray was the star quarterback. We ran in different circles, but always noticed each other from a distance. There was a mutual crush—sweet and quiet—but life moved on and so did we, taking separate paths after graduation, with only distant memories left behind. Years later, in 2023, life brought us back together through a simple message on social media. What started as catching up turned into something much more. We reconnected, got to know the real Karla and Joeray, and felt a spark neither of us expected. Life briefly pulled us apart again, but when we reunited in August, everything clicked. We fell in love almost instantly and knew we had found our forever. Now we’re here, engaged, and so excited to say “I do” on April 4, 2026.
