Danny and I met spring semester of 2014 (Jr year of college). I was sitting alone in marketing class when he sat next to me. Before I knew it, we became group partners and exchanged numbers. When the semester finished, Danny and I no longer shared classes together. During Thanksgiving of 2014 (Fall Semester) I received a random, "Happy Thanksgiving Karla," text message from Danny. Not thinking much of it, "Thanks! You too!" I responded (plain much?!) lol Spring Semester of 2015 (final school semester) rolled around and Danny and I shared a class taught by the same professor, at different lecture times. This class was "make it or break it." When my team began falling behind on the project, I reached out to Danny for help. Danny did not hesitate to help and I ultimately ended up passing the crucial business module class. After graduation, I made it nearly impossible for Danny and I to hang out. I would always say that I was busy with boxing, until I received a message that said, "Karla, it has been great knowing you. It looks like I will never see you again because you are always busy. I wish all your dreams come true." Lucky for him, I was scheduled to finish training early that upcoming Friday, as I had plans of catching up with a few friends. I messaged him back saying, "I'm going bowling with my friends this Friday. Want to tag along?" He agreed under one condition, he would pick me up. I agreed! That night we ended up eating pizza and bowling. When he dropped me off I asked, "So do you see this going somewhere?!" I guess you can say that from that day on, I knew he'd become my husband one day. 9/26/2015 - Danny asked me to be his girlfriend 4/1/2018 - Danny and I got engaged 8/24/2019 - We tie the knot
