Flying Into Naples

You may choose to fly into Naples International Airport (NAP). From there, there are several ways to reach Santa Maria di Castellabate: Option 1: Car Rental Renting a car from Naples is a convenient option. The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and follows a straightforward route, with some scenic stretches along the way. *Parking is available if you are staying at Palazzo Belmonte. Option 2: Train Take a train from Napoli Centrale to Agropoli–Castellabate. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. From the station, it’s a short taxi or bus ride (approximately 15–20 minutes) to Santa Maria di Castellabate. *Rental cars picked up at Agropoli–Castellabate station are often more affordable than those at the airport. Option 3: Bus Bus services from Naples are also available. Companies such as FlixBus and Marozzi operate routes to Santa Maria di Castellabate, with travel times typically between 3-4 hours. Schedules and tickets can be checked and booked online. Note: A newly opened airport in Salerno (QSR) is located about 40 minutes from Santa Maria di Castellabate. The airport is still expanding its routes and testing new connections, so it may be worth checking for available flights when planning your travel.

Flying Into Rome

Option 1: Train (Fastest) The fastest direct train from Roma Termini to Agropoli–Castellabate takes approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes. From the train station, you can take a taxi from the entrance or a bus from Agropoli (Tendostentura) to Santa Maria di Castellabate, where most accommodations are located. This transfer takes about 20 minutes. There are also additional train options—some direct, and others requiring a transfer in Napoli. Option 2: Car Rental Driving from Roma Termini to Santa Maria di Castellabate takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
