We're are getting married!

Just a casual night out, the evening before classes at ISU started; all students go out to Welch ave and walk around to meet up with old friends and make new ones. Boris was with his friend Shamar, walking around looking for girls…obviously. Karla was with her friend Limari just enjoying their new campus life. They noticed Boris and Shamar walking towards them a couple of times, but each time Karla walked away in the crowd trying to avoid Boris. At some point Karla and her friend got tired of walking around and found a seat at the gazebo on Welch ave. Boris and his friend took that opportunity to be slick and, without an invitation, sat down at the table where Karla was sitting. At that point Karla couldn’t avoid them anymore. She and Limari were annoyed. Shamar started talking to them but Karla and her friend knew very little English. They were lost. They couldn’t understand what Shamar was saying, especially when he only knew two words “Perro, gato…” and kept repeating it as if their meaning changed every time he spoke. Boris realized they probably were Hispanic, and quickly asked, “Hablan espanol?” From annoyed to confused, Karla and her friend immediately got excited to find someone who can speak Spanish with them. Laughs and conversations changed the tone of the night, phone numbers were exchanged and a friendship began. It wasn’t until a year later Karla realized Boris was not just a friend but a young man she wanted to find out more about. She started calling him and looking for him more until he finally got the hint and asked her out. On their first date they went to watch the romantic movie “Sin City”. After the date was over Boris took Karla to her apartment and during the goodbyes he saw an opportunity and took it. He kissed her and the sparks began.
