We met in the second grade in the our elementary school playground at recess. Aris was playing Tag with some friends and I was leaning against the railing. He ran towards the railing and some how got his fingers caught in my hair. After that we started a long friendship and were constantly hanging out after school as our moms were very close friends. They would always joke around that we would end up together. Fast forward, through middle school and high school and a little bit of distance, we rekindled our friendship and it lead us to be where we are today.

My Family and I were supposed to be going to see a light show around Christmas time, in Westbury Gardens. Aris was supposed to be meeting us there. After walking around and seeing all the beautiful light displays we came across a small area that was unlit. Of course, me being as curious as I am I went in to see why it was the only spot not lit. As I stepped in all these little lights came on to form the shape of a heart and Aris got down on his knee and said " You are the first girl I ever loved, and you will be the last girl I ever love. Will you be mine forever?" to which I said yes happily! Just like that surrounded by our families, we were engaged!
