Semi-formal attire is requested. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Please try to arrive at the park at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. Bonnet Springs Park is very large and it will take time to park and get transported to the ceremony site. Once there, you will want some additional time to get settled and take your seat.
Once you enter the park off of George Jenkins Blvd, follow the main road all the way to the last parking lot in front of the Event Center. You will pass the Welcome Center and the Children’s Museum. You can find a map of the park here, which shows the Event Center parking lot and The Boathouse: https://bonnetspringspark.com/about/plan-your-visit/
We will be having the ceremony and reception at The Boathouse. From the Event Center parking lot, you will follow the tram path to the right of the Event Center and continue all the way down to the Nature Center/Boathouse. You can either enjoy a nice walk (about 10 minutes) or you can hop on a complimentary tram.
We have chosen to have an alcohol-free wedding. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. There will not be a designated dance floor, but we will have other forms of entertainment to enjoy. The ceremony and reception areas are completely outdoors, but are shaded by a covered walkway and large trees. Dinner will take place in a covered screened enclosure.
