Gabe hosted on stage at Church on the Move Broken Arrow and Karissa (among many others) thought he was cute. They saw each other the next day across the room at Young Adults but never got the chance to talk *lots of eye contact* and he later asked her to get coffee. To make sure he wasn't a creep, Karissa suggested Collab Coffee because it was the ORU hotspot - she didn't need to worry though because they talked for five hours that day and realized that they stumbled upon something special!

A year and a half later, Gabe came up with an intricate story to get Karissa back to Collab where she walked into a room filled with flowers and candles - spoiler alert, he proposed. He then led her outside where both their families and all their friends were waiting to surprise her.
