What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is starting promptly at 5:30. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early and enjoy a cocktail and the beautiful views in the park.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Please contact the bride or groom with any food allergies or special requests.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
While there is likely to be street parking nearby, we highly recommend taking an uber or the Canal streetcar line to the ceremony.
Question
Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
There will be a large Halloween parade taking place the day of our wedding called, Krewe of Boo. To see the parade route, please visit the link and plan your accommodations accordingly. Where should we stay?

While we are booking a block of rooms at the JW Marriot, this city has so many wonderful accommodations! We recommend looking in the following neighborhoods listed below. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about where you are thinking of staying. -Storyville/CBD/Downtown (This is where you will find most well known chain hotels) -French Quarter (If you like peace and quiet at night, we highly recommend staying on the outskirts of the quarter) -Marigny (Close to Frenchmen street with tons of live music and nightlife) -Treme (Historic neighborhood located off of the French Quarter) -Esplanade Ave (lined with beautiful old oaks and historic homes) -Garden District (While there are beautiful accommodations here, you would need to Uber to the French Quarter, Frenchmen street and Storyville) Check out this website to learn about the different neighborhoods and get recommendations for places to eat and drink. https://www.neworleans.com/plan/neighborhoods/downtown-cbd/ ** Best to avoid staying in these neighborhoods Central city Saint Roch Seventh Ward Florida St Claude Pines Village West Lake Forest

How can we plan for bad weather?
Answer
Please ensure your airfare and travel accommodations can be moved or canceled in the case of a tropical storm or hurricane. So long as it is safe, we will be carrying out our wedding plan but we would like all of you to have this option!
