We're getting married!

He added me as a friend on social media, I had actually followed him for a few years on Instagram. I ended up sending him a message first and we talked for quite awhile. We planned to meet for the first time and he surprised me with a romantic first date at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! After dinner, we walked along the river while chatting and continuing to get know one another. Here we are now!

Less than 24 hours of us moving back home from Virginia, our families hosted a "Coming Home" party. (Disguised as his surprise proposal) I was sitting outside enjoying the company of our friends and family as "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran began playing. I looked to my right and he was standing there with his hand out to walk me out in front of our friends and family. I wondered what in the world was going on. Then, the music suddenly stopped and he got down on one knee asking me to be his wife!
