RSVP by October 31, 2024! Then envision yourself in the Riviera Maya come March 21, 2025.
We realize that packing up to Mexico for an extended weekend is a lot to ask. You are under no obligation to attend, nor do you need to provide us with a reason why you cannot (although we do ask that you kindly decline in the RSVP section). Receiving our save-the-date and subsequent invitation is our way of letting you know that when we walk down the aisle, we will be holding you near to our hearts because we love you immensely and have been positively affected by your presence in our lives thus far. This love is not predicated on your attendance in Mexico. For so many reasons, we hope you'll join us but understand if you may not be able.
Yes, a valid passport is required for entry into Mexico. Generally, it takes about 2 months to process your passport application so don't delay. You can find more information on that here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html
YES! An RSVP is required to solidify your attendance. If you (and any "plus ones" you plan to bring) do not RSVP on this site, we will assume you have regretfully declined and your seat and meal will not be saved.
Anyone can come to Mexico! But not everyone can attend the wedding and subsequent wedding activities. Due to venue constraints, we have allocated a specific number of seats for each person. If additional guests arrive that have not been accounted for, they will sadly be turned away. Please refer to the RSVP section of this website for your allotted number of seats.
All wedding guests will stay at Hotel Xcaret Mexico! This all-inclusive resort boasts premium food and beverages throughout your stay. Airport transfers, transportation and access to all of Grupo Xcaret water parks, and many more perks are offered for FREE! The link to book is in the Travel section of this website.
That's up to you! We recommend arriving no later than the morning of Thursday, 03/20/2025. Wedding activities will begin that night and conclude on the morning of Sunday, 03/23/2025. At minimum, you will want to fly in on 03/20/25, book accommodations for 03/20-03/23, and fly out 03/23/25. Many guests are opting to fly in earlier and stay later. Discounted room rates are available between 03/17-03/25 should you wish to extend your vacation out. You'll be flying into the Cancún International Airport (airport code CUN). While you decide on travel dates, you may begin familiarizing yourself with flight times and your departure airport of choice.
YES! Our idea is: a wedding is so much more than a plated dinner and a rigid event schedule. For us, it's the celebration of our partnership with the folks who have made us, us. And what better way to honor that than a shared vacation with the MOST important people in our lives!? We're looking forward to holiday dinners, Friday night drinks, and weekend barbecues with you all. But we're so thrilled to bring you in on the very beginning of our marriage journey, starting with a Caribbean adventure set in a land rich in culture and natural beauty.
In short, it's astonishingly beautiful. Mexico is home to one of the greatest archaeological sites, Chichen Itza, which experts estimate was built over 1,500 years ago by the Yucatec Mayans. As such, this country holds so much raw history and culture and is best experienced in the flesh. We'll be specifically visiting the Riviera Maya, which is largely characterized by its Caribbean waters, lush jungles, and abundant wildlife. Our wedding will take place on an ecological preserve where you will learn about and come in contact with the animals and flora that are native to this land. We hope each guest develops an appreciation and respect for this land, its inhabitants, and its culture.
Text us with any outstanding Qs. Otherwise, start daydreaming about the Riviera Maya - we're doing the same!
