We’ve shared a few recommended hotel options on a separate page to help make planning easier (ranging from $250-$330 per night at the downtown options). Please note that Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Maryland Terrapins in Columbus on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Hotels closer to downtown and campus may book quickly and experience elevated pricing that weekend. If you'd prefer slightly lower hotel rates and easier traffic on Saturday (game time dependent), consider staying farther out toward the suburbs — particularly near Easton, Polaris, or the New Albany area, where we’ll also be hosting our Saturday game day open house.
Cocktail attire encouraged. Evening wear in deep tones for an October evening celebration. Attire should suggest a backstory — like you might be recognized later. Think candlelight, velvet, satin, and just a touch of dramatic energy (or whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to dance).
Yes. Surface lot parking is available at the venue. Look for The Smith Bros' Hardware Co. building.
Please do not arrive before 6:00 p.m., as the parking lot is shared with a neighboring office building and will need time to clear for our guests. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Absolutely. We strongly encourage rideshare use if you'd prefer not to drive. Venue address: 580 N 4th St Columbus, OH 43215

This will be an indoor/outdoor evening. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on a turf lawn and paved patio. Dinner and dancing will be indoors. If inclement weather is anticipated, outdoor portions of the evening will be tented. As for October in Ohio: it could be 75 degrees, 45 degrees, or both in the same evening. Please prepare accordingly.
Yes. The venue uses turf rather than grass, and there are paved walkways throughout the space. Your shoes should survive the evening beautifully.
Yes. We’ll do our best to accommodate dietary needs and restrictions submitted during the RSVP process.
While we adore your little ones, our wedding weekend events will be adults-only. We hope this allows everyone a chance to relax, celebrate, and fully enjoy the evening.
Our venue has strict policies regarding outside alcohol and marijuana. Please do not bring outside liquor, flasks, coolers, marijuana, vape pens, or other substances into the venue. While recreational marijuana is legal in Ohio, it is not permitted at the venue, and guests who violate venue policy may be asked to leave. We love you dearly and would prefer not to watch anyone get removed from our wedding. Save it for before or after the celebration, and let us provide the good times.
We’d love to keep the weekend going. Join us on Saturday for a casual Ohio State game day BBQ and open house at our home. Come hang out with the bride and groom, enjoy some food and football, and cheer on the Buckeyes as they take on Maryland. Festivities will begin one hour before kickoff (game time TBD).
