Estes Park is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Denver International Airport. We recommend renting a car to get from Denver International to Estes Park due to limited Uber or Lyft services, and it will provide the most flexible choice for getting to and around the town. Please note: There is NO rental car provider in Estes Park, so cars will need to be rented at Denver International Airport or in the Denver area. ADDITIONAL OPTIONS OUTLINED BELOW

Estes Park Trolleys
A 24 person trolley that will operate one hour before the wedding from 2:45-3:45 pm and one hour post wedding from 10:30-11:30 pm. This trolley will complete as many loops as possible within the hour and will transfer guests to and from Trailhead Lodge Rocky Mountains and Black Canyon Inn.

The Stanley Hotel
The Stanley Hotel is historic and famous for being the inspiration behind Stephen King's iconic book, "The Shining" and makes an appearance in the iconic Dumb & Dumber movie. The hotel is about a 4 minute drive / 20 minute walk to downtown Estes Park and approximately a 5-minute drive to and from the wedding venue. They also have The Stanley Residences available if you'd like to stay on the Stanley Hotel property, but in a house with a smaller group! (This could be a great option if you are trying to reconnect with family and friends that you have not seen in awhile and split hotel costs)

This is the sister property for the Black Canyon Inn (Wedding venue) - As a sister property they will offer a 10% discount to all guests. It is about a 5 minute drive to and from the wedding venue. While units are available this place offers cabins/rooms that can hold up to 10 people. This could be a great option if you are trying to reconnect with family and friends that you have not seen in awhile and split hotel costs. Rooms range from $240-$500 a night based on size of unit and amenities.

Altitude
To all of our family and friends traveling to Colorado please be mindful of the higher altitude! Drink more water than you think you'll need, and pack chapstick. Don't overdo it with exercise and note that alcohol tends to have greater effects at higher elevation.

Weather
The weather in November in Estes Park can be unpredictable! You can expect daytime temperatures typically ranging in the mid-40s Fahrenheit. Evenings will be much cooler, often dropping into the 20s. Though the days are generally sunny, there is the chance of snow and wind so it's a good idea to bring layers, a warm jacket, hat and gloves just in case!
