Set in the gorgeous Paradise Valley, Chico Hot Springs is about 2.5 hours east from Red Lodge. It has beautiful hikes, nice soaking tubs, and delicious restaurants to visit. Highly recommend to add on if you're interested in extending your trip!

Tippet Rise Art Center

Tippet Rise Art Center

MT

This sculpture garden located roughly 30 minutes from Red Lodge has made a name for itself for it's incredible artwork. Requires pre-booked tour (with or without a guide) - see website. World-renowned for its summer concerts and beautiful sculptures, this is surely worth a visit! Note that if you take a walking tour distance between sculptures is up to 3 miles.

Custer-Gallantin National Forest, MT

There are so many great hikes near Red Lodge. Some of our favorites: - Timberline Lake - 10 miles round trip, moderate - Sioux Charley - 6 miles round trip, easy - Quinnebaugh Meadows - 10 miles round trip, easy - Mystic Lake - 5 miles round trip, easy (where we got engaged!) Feel free to ask us for recommendations or to borrow a map!

Skiing

Skiing

Beartooth Basin, MT

Yes, you really can ski in the middle of summer. At the top of the Beartooth Highway, there's a small ski resort that is open year-round. Lift tickets are only $45, so if you're itching to get that snow fix in June, this is the place!

Fishing

Fishing

Red Lodge, MT

There are tons of places to go fly fishing near Red Lodge. The main cabin where the wedding will be is creekside so there may even be fly fishing right there! There are multiple outfitters that offer guided tours, or ask Justin where he would recommend for the best catches

Drive the Beartooth Highway

Drive the Beartooth Highway

Beartooth Highway, MT

Considered one of the most scenic drives in America, this 68-mile drive starts just a few minutes south of Red Lodge (where we're all staying) and crosses into Wyoming. It drops down into Cooke City, which is right outside of Yellowstone National Park. There's multiple outlook points to take in the gorgeous view. High probability of seeing mountain goats!
