Attire & What to Bring

The dress code is "Garden Party." Garden party is a relaxed, semi-formal attire with solids or patterns welcome. Tie optional, no jeans. This is an OUTDOOR wedding, so please wear appropriate shoes to walk on grass. The weather in Hartwell, GA, at the end of September is historically in the 70s during the day and 60s at night. Rain is also a possibility! The ceremony will be uncovered, rain or shine, with the lake as our backdrop. Cocktail hour and the reception will be covered by tents. Bring a light jacket for the evening and any coverings you'd like for possible rain. We will provide some sunscreen and bug spray, but feel free to bring your own.

Venue Details & Arrival Time

Answer

The venue is the Hodges Family lake house located on Lake Hartwell. The wedding will take place in the backyard looking out at the lake. We met here, got engaged here, and now will get married here! The ceremony will be at the very back of the backyard (on "the point"), cocktail hour will be in the front yard, and the reception will be under the main tent setup in the backyard. Please arrive by 3:30pm to park and be seated before the ceremony begins at 4pm.

Getting There & Parking

You can take an Uber or Lyft, carpool, or drive yourself. Please consider carpooling, as parking is limited! We will have someone directing street parking along Hodges Lane.

RSVPs & Guest List

Answer

Please RSVP by August 31, 2026. It is preferred that you RSVP on our website. Alternatively, you can contact Will or Karina. Children are more than welcome to join us. Please indicate their attendance on your RSVP so we can save them a seat. If you would like a plus-one and we have not discussed it with you, please reach out to Will or Karina.
