We're getting Married!!!

It’s hard to put God’s faithfulness into words, but our story is one of healing, redemption, and answered prayers. We technically met in a church financial class—yep, nothing says “romance” like budgeting tips and spreadsheets. At the time, we barely exchanged more than a “hi” and a polite smile. We were in totally different seasons and had no idea what God was preparing. Fast forward a little bit (literally months...), and life looked very different. In the fall of 2024, both of us were walking through heartbreak. Karina had just come out of a long-term relationship, and Tony had been healing from one of his own. Both of us were leaning on God, trying to figure out what healing, purpose, and joy looked like again. Love wasn’t even on the radar. Our first real conversation happened in November 2024 at a coffee shop with mutual friends. Somehow a “Hey, how are you?” turned into deep conversations about heartbreak, hope, and how good God is even in the waiting. We opened up about where we were, what we’d been through, and how we were trying to cling to God through it all. From there, God did what only He can do. He built something beautiful out of what we both thought were broken pieces. What followed was a whirlwind of worship nights in the car, long talks, laughter over everything and nothing, and way too many blushing face emojis. In late December, we admitted we liked each other (okay, maybe it was obvious before that). In January 2025, Tony officially asked Karina to be his girlfriend—with flowers, snacks, and a handwritten note. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to pursue each other with intention, faith, and fun. We prayed a lot, had important (and silly) conversations, and fell more in love with every 5 AM gym session, late-night hangout, and serving together. Four months later, Tony proposed in the mountains— Karina’s childhood dream spot. She said YES!!! Now we’re getting married, and we’re so excited to build a life filled with worship, purpose, deep conversations, spontaneous adventures, and a love that keeps pointing us back to the One who brought us together. God wrote a love story we never saw coming, and we’re so ready to say “I do.”
