Please RSVP by July 15st! Thank you!!
Yes!! Thankfully we have a totally stunning venue that we want to spend the whole time enjoying, so all events of the day will take place at Turning Stone Farm! There is plenty of free parking for everyone onsite as well, so once you get there you can just relax!
Anyone who knows Karina knows that time is a fickle thing, but she's got a crew to get her to the ceremony on time and so we're asking that guests arrive up to 30 minutes early (2:30) so that you can get a good seat for the ceremony. Ceremony starts at 3:00 and we're so excited!
Semi-Formal: Dresses, suits, cocktail attire, along with any other snazzy outfits y'all can cook up and dance hard in! A small reminder - This is a Vermont barn wedding! Proper foot attire is strongly recommended, especially for when we're dancing around a bonfire in a field!
While we know that it is summertime, August in Vermont is a different kind of summer (remember we've got that mountain breeze!), so we're expecting 70-80 degrees with the day becoming cooler to 60-70 as the sun sets! Of course we know we can't forecast the weather exactly, but we'll keep an eye the week before and update accordingly as the day approaches!
We'll be serving light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour (think charcuterie) along with signature drinks, followed by a buffet style dinner and dessert! For those with dietary restrictions, we'll make sure everything is properly labeled and we'll have gluten-free and vegan options!
Sure! We of course want people to be as present as possible during the ceremony, but we're big picture takers ourselves! Just make sure people behind you can see and if you post them online, use the hashtag #KarinaGotRobbiedAway so we can find them and enjoy too!
Top pick for us is Parker Pie Pizza!!! We absolutely love this place and go every year. Its a very chill relaxed atmosphere and NOT quick at all so plan some time to sit and enjoy drinks while you wait for your food, but oh baby is it worth the wait! There is also a great classic market called Willey's True Value Hardware (we promise it's worth it), they have local Vermont foods, souvenirs, beer and wine, clothes and toys and so much more! Always a fun stop for us is also Red Sky Trading Post which is a completely honesty run store (there is literally no one running the store and you make your own change) - they have jams and donuts, homemade chips and salsas and are located on a beautiful river which you can sit and enjoy the peace. There is also the VERY popular and famous Hill Farmstead Brewery close by which has AMAZING beers! They also serve them at Parker Pie!
