We're getting married!

On a beautiful Sunday morning, Rob had gone to Red Rocks with his sister. Karina was also there hiking and exploring the possibility of moving from NY to CO. As she was taking photos of the natural beauty, Rob approached her and introduced himself. They shared their journeys moving from city to city and both being from the East Coast, they immediately connected. Rob and Karina exchanged numbers and stayed in touch through the pandemic lockdown and Karina eventually moved to Denver in May 2020.

Rob and Karina were visiting Florence, Italy and while having dinner at a beautiful restaurant, they enjoyed the view of the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral and listened to an opera singer. After enjoying an amazing 5 course meal, the song "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys started playing and Karina reacted the same way she always does, with a big smile. Then, when Karina turned to Rob and noticed he was on one knee, and asked her to marry him with tears in his eyes. Karina said YES and of course, started to cry. The restaurant guests and staff celebrated with sparkling wine, flowers, hugs, and cheers.
