Re-connecting through mutual friends, Michael and Karina met at the corner of Lasalle and Wacker one summer night for a few drinks in the city...and the rest is history.

Fast forward to five years later... Karina and Mike planned on meeting at Lasalle and Wacker after work one December Friday evening for their annual Christkindl Market and Christmas dinner. As they were walking to what ended up being fake dinner reservations, Michael got down on one knee at the same spot where they met for the first time! The night was celebrated with the family and friends who mean the most to them.
