Josue and I grew up in the same home town, Friona, TX. According to Josue, he has had a crush on me since forever ago! Haha, not sure if he’s just buttering me up, or if that’s true. We became friends in the year of 2017! He was posting his sweet chow chow, Nala, on snapchat, and I of course “slid up” in his DMs telling him how cute his puppy was. He would come over to my house and bring her, just so I could hang out and play with his puppy. Josue became the person who knew everything. I could trust him with my deepest darkest secrets. He was honest, always, in his advice and opinions. Crazy enough, he was my best friend through some crazy relationships. He always respected them and always supported me because at the end of the day his biggest goal for me was to see me happy. He always put the pieces of my heart back together when I was broken. Somehow always found a way to make me smile or laugh. He was the one who brought me to my feet through the hardest days of my depression. Josue stood by my side as I graduated nursing school, and I by his when he graduated with his Bachelors from WTAMU. He supported me through my moms passing. Always kept my head held for me, even when I couldnt. We were literally THE BEST OF FRIENDS. Till one day, the switch finally flipped. (Mainly me finally coming to my senses.)We had a long talk one day about all the I loves yous we said as friends and decided to put it into play. The good lord knows that was the best decision of our lives. It was love like no other. So magical and pure. Literally like the movies. Dancing to country songs in the kitchen, he opening my door to the car, always kissing me goodnight, and making sure to hug me tight every night at bed time. He opened his arms and heart to Zaylee and Nehemiah. Its like it was almost natural. All three of them were meant for each other. In the short period, I saw the growth of happiness in my kids because of Josue. He was the missing piece to the fairytale.
