CJ's Tacos #2 - Thicket
We go to CJ’s Tacos all the time—it’s one of our absolute favorite spots in Austin. If you’re in the mood for something delicious, you’ve got to try the fish tacos (so crispy and fresh!) and the quesabirria tacos (cheesy, juicy, and perfect with the dipping consommé). There are two locations: one by the airport on Burleson Rd. (right next to Karina’s job) and one on South 1st (basically around the corner from our house). As we planned it, right? 😉 We hope you love it as much as we do!
Grata’s Pizzeria
A Slice of Home If you're looking for a great bite while you're in town, we recommend stopping by Grata’s Pizzeria in Austin. It’s one of Greg’s absolute favorites—especially their Philly cheesesteak, which reminds him of home! Whether you're craving a hearty sandwich or a classic New York-style slice, Grata’s is casual, comforting, and always hits the spot.

Explore South Congress! If you have some free time, take a stroll down South Congress Avenue! It’s one of Austin’s most iconic streets—filled with funky shops, local boutiques, live music, and great eats. Grab coffee at Jo’s, check out the boots at Allens, or snap a photo in front of the “I love you so much” mural.
