Is there a theme or color scheme?

Answer

Yes! The theme will be forest-wonder style, incorporating colors such as moss and sage greens, terracottas, dusty roses, and gold.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The event's dress code will be cocktail attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on the garden grounds but the reception will be indoors at the Palm House. City summers can get pretty warm so please keep that in mind.

How are you handling COVID?

Answer

Everyone who wishes to attend our wedding must be fully vaccinated through two booster shots. An acception will be made for medical reasons only, in which case, contact us directly. The two of us, our venue, and everyone we are working with to make our wedding happen, are doing everything we can to be as safe as possible and we hope you all do the same. Karina has a chronic illness that makes getting Covid really really risky and scary so please be considerate of her and others with possible co-morbidities.

What subway lines run near the venue?

Answer

The closest subway lines that run to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden are the 2/3 line to either the Brooklyn Museum/Eastern Parkway stop or the 2/3/4/5 to the Franklin Ave stop. Any of those can connect to other lines either at Atlantic Terminal or within Manhattan.

Do I have to RSVP on the website even if I told one of you personally that I’m responding?

Answer

Yes! The answer is yes. We need your food choice, plus one information if you’re bringing a plus one, and a place to keep track of all RSVPs.
