On a Thursday afternoon, I had volunteered to help my best friend set up for his Christmas show, and Karina had also volunteered to help her cousin. I was on stage putting up some Christmas decorations and that is when she walked in and I was staring and grabbed Onimer and demanded to know who she was. I ended up getting a job there and seeing her every now and then but never made the move, until one day I commented on her picture on Instagram and we spoke a little. But funny enough she made the move to give me her number and six years later, it was the best decision ever to accept her number and reply. -Eddy

Eddy had been talking about how amazing and great it would be for us to get married and I was in shock but excited because I wanted nothing more than to spend my life with my best friend. But he kept mentioning that I needed to wait till we were 7 years together for him to pop the question. On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, was Eddy's Birthday, on this birthday card I told him that I would wait the 762 days because he was the only person I wanted to spend my life with and that I could not picture my life without him. As most of you know on April 5, 2018, a big group of family and friends went on a cruise for his birthday. Everyone in our party knew that he was going to propose except me. A few people kept dropping hints and asking questions about us getting engaged or married and I kept telling everyone they needed to wait as patiently as I was for the 7 years to come around. Thursday was a day at sea. Friday we were in Key West and I remember calling my mom and her asking me if anything exciting happened and I just mentioned things we had been doing on the cruise. We get back on the cruise ship and everyone started getting ready for captains night and Eddy insisted on having a drink on the balcony before we went down for dinner. He was all nervous and excited and I had no idea what was going on. We went to the balcony and we were talking and he was being so strange. I asked him if he was ok and he said yes... no, I'm not feeling that great. So I told him it was probably from all the sugary drinks we had in key west, for us to go to dinner and eat some food maybe that helps and he said ok but first let's take a picture (ps. he hates taking pictures). So I turned around to take a selfie of us and I didn't see him behind me and when I turned back around, he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. I was so excited I didn't let him say anything I just said YES YES YES! He told me he hadn't asked me anything yet and I said the answer is YES! -KARINA
