If you ask both of us…we met back in April 2021 in Huntsville, Texas. We both had a mutual friend that introduced us to each other…and to this day neither of us will agree who made the first move. Fast forward May of 2021, we met each other again at the Jolly Fox in Huntsville… If you ask Karina…I first saw Chris in college because his cousin invited him to my ring dunk party in April 2021 and I thought to myself “this guy is cute” so I basically made the first move. Later in May 2021, his cousin invited him again to my graduation celebration at the local college bar. Chris bought me a drink at the bar and we danced all night. He took me out to eat at a local restaurant in Huntsville the next day. I didn’t think much of it, but we exchanged numbers and started messaging afterwards. Chris officially asked me out on our first date in Houston a few weeks later and we went go-karting. He did not hold back and made me lose. I was thinking to myself “this guy really didn’t let me win?” We went on a few more dates in Houston, and Chris would come and see me every weekend while he was still in college and (finally) asked me to be his girlfriend in August 2021. Four years later, we took a trip to Banff, Canada and he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. If you ask Chris… I was introduced to Karina in May of 2021, bought her a drink that she didn’t drink and danced a bit. We went out to eat the next day and thought that it was a plus that she spoke Spanish. I invited her to a go-karting date and made sure to not go easy on her. We officially started dating August 1st 2021. Four years later I surprised Karina with a small box and a ring inside. In August 2025, we started a new exciting chapter and bought a home together and now we are officially getting married on April 3, 2027.

Si nos preguntas a los dos, nos conocimos en Abril de 2021 en Huntsville, Texas. Teníamos un amigo en común que nos presentó... y hasta el día de hoy ninguno de los nos ponemos de acuerdo sobre quién dio el primer paso. Luego, en Mayo de 2021, nos encontramos de nuevo en el Jolly Fox en Huntsville... Si le preguntas a Karina... yo vi a Chris por primera vez en la universidad porque su primo lo invitó a mi fiesta de 'ring dunk' en Abril de 2021 y pensé "este muchacho esta guapo", así que básicamente yo di el primer paso. Más tarde, en Mayo de 2021, su primo lo invitó de nuevo a mi celebración de graduación en el bar local de la universidad. Chris me compró una bebida en el bar y bailamos toda la noche. Al día siguiente me llevó a comer a un restaurante local en Huntsville. No le di mucha importancia, pero intercambiamos números y comenzamos a mensajear. Chris me invitó oficialmente a nuestra primera cita en Houston unas semanas después y fuimos a go-karting. No se contuvo y me hizo perder. Pensé: "¿De verdad que este muchacho no me dejó ganar?". Tuvimos algunas citas más en Houston, y Chris venía a verme todos los fines de semana mientras aún estaba en la universidad y (finalmente) me pidió que fuera su novia en Agosto de 2021. Cuatro años después, hicimos un viaje a Banff, Canadá, se arrodilló y me pidió que me casara con él. Si le preguntas a Chris... Me presentaron a Karina en Mayo de 2021, le compré una bebida que no se tomó y bailamos un poco. Salimos a comer al día siguiente y pensé que era un punto a favor que hablara español. La invité a una cita de go-karting y me aseguré de no ser tan facil con ella. Oficialmente comenzamos a salir el 1 de Agosto de 2021. Cuatro años después, sorprendí a Karina con una pequeña caja y un anillo adentro. En Agosto de 2025, comenzamos un nuevo y emocionante capítulo y compramos una casa juntos, y ahora oficialmente nos casamos el 3 de Abril de 2027.
