Their story began at a Halloween party through a mutual friend—just a brief meeting that neither of them thought much of at the time. Months later, when the spring semester started at Collin College, fate stepped in and brought them back together. They became fast friends, spending time studying and working out together, slowly realizing that their connection was more than friendship. On May 17th, 2022, Charles asked Karina to be his girlfriend during a dreamy sunset date. Despite the distance when she left for Baylor that fall, they took a leap of faith—and their love only grew stronger. Three wonderful years later, on August 29th, 2025, he completely surprised her with the most beautiful proposal at the Dallas Arboretum. It was a moment straight out of a fairytale and the start of their forever.
