Travel Note
We are so incredibly grateful for each and every person in our lives as we begin this next chapter. We understand that traveling to Italy is a big commitment—of time, energy, and expense—and we truly do not take it lightly. Please know that your presence is never expected, only deeply appreciated. If you are able to join us, we cannot wait to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with you in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. As our celebration will be held at a private villa with limited accommodations, the on-site rooms have been reserved for immediate family members. We will be happy to share recommendations for nearby hotels, B&Bs, and vacation rentals for all other guests. And if you are unable to attend, please know there are absolutely no hard feelings. You will be missed, but you are with us in spirit, and in our hearts on this very special day. Flight
For guests traveling from abroad, we recommend flying into Rome (FCO – Leonardo da Vinci International Airport), as it offers the most convenient international connections and easiest access to Umbria.
Train
From Rome, there are a few simple ways to reach the villa 🚆 By Train (Great Option if Not Driving) For guests who prefer not to drive, Italy’s train system is a comfortable and scenic alternative. 🚆 Train Option Note (Important) When traveling from Rome, there are two possible train stops nearby: Orvieto and Attigliano. Both can work, but we recommend using Orvieto as the main station because it has more frequent trains and easier taxi access. However, Attigliano is actually closer to the villa (about 13 minutes away) and can be a great option if the train schedule works better for your arrival time. ✔️ How to Choose When booking on Trenitalia: If available, choose Orvieto as your destination (recommended) If a more convenient time shows Attigliano, that is also perfectly fine Both stations work—you will just take a short taxi ride from either one to the villa. 🚕 From Station to Villa A taxi or pre-arranged transfer will take you from either station directly to the villa in about 10–30 minutes depending on location.
