Point Defiance Park
One of our favorite parks! 760 acres of forest, beaches, trails, gardens, and the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Take a 5-mile drive through the forest!
Dune Peninsula
Great place to walk and see views of the Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. Seals and whales are also known to pop their heads up as well!
Curran Coffee
Great local coffee shop in Tacoma. Go for a walk afterwards down at Tacoma's beautiful waterfront!
McMenamins Elks Temple
Super unique spot with 7 floors to explore in the heart of downtown. Themed bars, a live music ballroom, and perhaps a hidden bar as well...? Claire used to work the hotel here!
Shake Shake Shake
Classic American diner with amazing milkshakes. Check out Stadium High School across the street. If you've ever seen 10 Things I Hate About You, this is the school it was filmed at!
Pike Place Market
If you want to venture north into Washington's biggest city, Pike Place Market is a must-see. Watch the fishermen throw fish through the air! Beautiful bouquets of flowers, plenty of places to eat, and local art to see.
Mount Rainier National Park
One of the most stunning places in the Pacific Northwest! Mount Rainier is an active volcano, and the park features forests, wildflowers, glaciers, and stunning views. You'll need to reserve a spot ahead of time to enter the park.
Alki Beach
Beach close to where we live in West Seattle! Also where Karim proposed :) Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes. Take the water taxi into downtown Seattle for a beautiful view of the city, mountains, and water. Drops you off within 15 mins walking to Pike's Place Market.
Chambers Bay Loop Trail Head
Walking path right by our venue! Wraps you through Chambers Bay Golf Course with stunning views of the Puget Sound and surrounding mountains.
