The only difference you can expect is that everyone in attendance at our wedding is full of radical love and support for ours and any other same-sex marriage. We recognize that loving us individually is not the same thing as loving our love. If you find yourself in this boat, we fully support and encourage you sending your love virtually.
Thanks for asking! Kari uses she/her pronouns and Rhea uses they/them.
All we ask is that you try you best! If you are unsure of a person's pronouns you can avoid them all together, ie "I'm so excited to see Kari! Kari looked very beautiful in that dress." You're also always welcome to ask or introduce yourself by saying something like "Hi! My name is Kari and I use she/her pronouns."
That's okay! We understand and anticipate a few slip ups here and there. All we ask is that you try your best and respect us and our guests. However, be aware that purposeful misgendering, misnaming, or hateful speech will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.
