Joseph and Kari met the summer of 2020. They matched on a dating site late June and started talking. They met for the first time on The 4th of July, where they watched the yearly firework show. After they drove around listening to music and went to little party, where Kari met a few of Joseph's friends. When the night was over they continue to talk everyday. They went on their official first date a few weeks later. Joseph took Kari to the local Escape Room in town. Joseph admitted from the start how he didn't think he'd be much help, but Kari was stoked, They had a blast almost completing the room. Even the employee said they were only a few steps from beating it. This where Joseph and Kari took their first picture together. They continued talking until October when the 2 became inseparable, only leaving other for work. They spent their first holidays and birthdays together this year; and began officially dating late February. Shortly after they took their first trip together. They went to Kari's home state, where Joseph got to meet Kari's family and friends. They went to the Florida Aquarium, and Kari's favorite theme park, Busch Gardens. In June of 2021 they moved in together and they got their own first place. They discovered their love of building and collecting Lego sets. They had their first Halloween party, Kari's favorite holiday, Joseph dressed up as Jesus. They hosted their first Thanksgiving, where Kari met Joseph's family. They had their first Christmas together as a couple. It was filled with their now yearly tradition of making sweets and candy. They had a Christmas party with friends making ornaments, enjoying good food, and sharing laughs. In February of 2022 Joseph and Kari decided they wanted a family. 5 long months later, right after Joseph's birthday they discovered they were expecting. They moved into a bigger place for the baby, and by October they found out they were having a baby girl. They officially became a family in April of 2023; welcoming beautiful Marceline Lyndzy into the world. Life became a whole new world of laughs, learning, and experiencing new things together. On October 5th of 2023 Kari's cousin, Bobbie stopped by on her way home from a trip. Kari immediately called her sister asking if Marceline's pumpkin photo shoot could be moved up so her cousin could be here for this experience. Kari had no clue that Joseph had put together a surprise with her family for her. During the shoot, Joseph proposed to Kari. Everybody knew but Kari and her cousin Bobbie; who Kari immediately accused of knowing the surprise. Bobbie swore she had no clue about the proposal. Not long after in November of 2023 they surprisingly discovered they were expecting again. In February of 2024 they found out they were having a baby boy! Their family became complete in July 2024, welcoming handsome Oliver Brett. Fast forward to now, they're wedding planning a big day full of friends, family, laughing, and food! The happy couple can't wait to see everybody on the big day!
