Are kids invited?
Answer
We wouldn’t dream of telling you that you can’t bring your kids to our wedding with you! (As of course our girls will be part of our big day as well) With that being said, we want to make sure that you enjoy the day (and for many of you the trip to Alberta) as well! Please make whatever decision you are comfortable with in regards to travelling with and attending our wedding with your children. It is important to note that our wedding will be held on our acreage and the entire wedding will be outdoors. There will be an event tent set up for the wedding that will be exclusively used if the weather takes a turn for the worst. Guests will be unable to access the house so again please keep that in mind when making your decision about bringing children! Your kids will need to be supervised for the duration of the event.

What should I wear?
Answer
The theme is “backyard casual”! (Want to wear jeans? Go for it! A cowboy hat? Perfect! A comfy sundress? Absolutely!) The weather in Alberta is often unpredictable and the entire wedding will be taking place outdoors! Pack a few comfortable (and casual) options. Ladies- if you wear attire that outshines the bride, you will be asked to spend the evening in the chicken run.

Where can we pee?
Answer
In the woods! (Kidding!) We will have bathroom trailers set up on our property, complete with running water…because we are fancy like that!

Is it true the wedding will have a tattoo artist AND a permanent jewellery company?
Answer
You heard right! We will have a couple of local tattoo artists doing flash tattoos throughout the evening (Budget about $60-$100 if you’re interested!) Not into permanent ink? The bride’s fave permanent jewellery company will also be on site with all their fabulous options!

What’s on the menu?
Answer
An amazing local restaurant will be catering a buffet for us! Dinner will include smoked brisket, BBQ burnt ends, and so many more amazing items! (we don’t want to give too much away!) Vegetarians will be provided with their own meal!
