Mall of America®
For our guests from out of state, we recommend visiting one of the biggest attractions in Minnesota, The Mall of America. This mall holds over 520 stores and over 50 restaurants. It also hosts the Nickelodeon Universe indoor amusement park, Sea Life Aquarium, Crayola Experience, Tactical Urban Combat Laser Tag, a Flyover America Experience, mini golf, and a movie theater. We speak for every local Minnesotan when we say plan your visit on a weekday, if possible.
Clearwater / Pleasant Regional Park
One of Kari's favorite places in the area is the Clearwater/Pleasant Regional Park. This park has a beach and lake access on Pleasant Lake, playground area, walking trails, disc golf, picnic area, and bathrooms. This is also where we took our engagement photos.
Pioneer Park
Minnesota Pioneer Park began in 1972 as an educational museum to display the history of the area's early pioneers. For 40 years, countless members, volunteers, patrons, and visitors have been involved in our mission to encourage an appreciation of the pioneer heritage of Central Minnesota through education and displays of artifacts, with an emphasis on the late 1800s and early 1900s. Call ahead for a 2 hour tour or just stop by for general admission.
