FAQs

A few helpful tips on visiting San Francisco for our wedding.
Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. The venue will be open for guests to arrive starting at 4:30pm.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue, The Pearl, is located in the Dogpatch district of San Francisco. We recommend using Uber/Lyft for transportation to/from the wedding. Transportation time from our partner hotels are as follows: - Hotel Via: ~5-10 min drive - Stanford Court Hotel: ~15-20 min drive

Question

Does the wedding venue have parking?

Answer

The Pearl highly recommends using public transit, taxi, or Uber/Lyft as transportation to and from the wedding. However, if you are planning to drive, they have partnered with Impark Lot #85 which is located just 2 flat blocks from the wedding venue and costs $20 for all day parking. Impark Lot #85 - 901 Illinois Street, San Francisco, CA 94107

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Cocktail Attire. We also recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket since SF can get foggy and breezy when the sun goes down.

Question

What is the weather like in October?

Answer

October is one of the sunniest and warmest months in San Francisco! Temperatures tend to range from 55-75 degrees. Since we are located very close to the water, we can often get foggy and breezy weather. We always recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for when the sun goes down.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Duh

Question

What should I expect on your wedding day?

Answer

We will have a short outdoor ceremony on the rooftop of The Pearl immediately followed by a cocktail hour (also on the rooftop). The indoor reception will then be held downstairs including dinner and dancing. The wedding will end by midnight. You are welcome to join Eric and I after the wedding at our favorite late night burrito spot El Farolito to enjoy some after party burritos!

Question

Will there be other events to attend after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have rented a private space at a food truck park for a few hours the day after the wedding. Attendance is optional and dress code is casual. Details can be found on the "Schedule" tab.

Question

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#EricGotKariedAway
