For the beer lovers (or Sherlock lovers), stop by RedBeard's and enjoy a Moriarty and fun atmosphere.
The Blackfriar's Playhouse is a rep theater and is open year round for Shakespeare's plays and other contemporary works. Their shows are always enjoyable and we are frequent patrons.
Enjoy an excellent farmer's market in the Wharf with lots of local goodies from chai tea to gluten free baked goods, fresh produce and meat, and more! Park at the Johnson Street parking garage for free. The Market is also within walking distance of the local toy store (Pufferbellies), gaming shop (Dragon's Horde), and a number of excellent stores just up the hill on Beverly Street.
Dexter's favorite local restaurant - enjoy a full bar with appetizers and a full dinner menu that has something for everyone.
Kari's favorite local joint - wine or beer, grilled cheese, and charcuterie.
The Blue Ridge Parkway has an excellent scenic view, lovely hiking trails, and also features the Blue Ridge Tunnel.
Natural Bridge State Park is one of the few dark sky parks in our area, about an hour away from Staunton. There are often fun events with the park rangers that you can sign up for in advance or just go enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains.
