Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions and the current pandemic regulations, we have to cancel our party.

2011 I had just returned from a summer in Mississippi in time for Dodge City Days. I’d always bartend during the rodeo, and it just so happened I was back early from my internship in time for the concert that year. At the time, Craig was roommates with our friend Josh Coval and Josh took Craig with him to the concert with some other friends, including Matt Hornung. Matt brought Craig up to the bar to get beers from me. I distinctly remember seeing Craig’s blue eyes and thought I’d need to ask Matt who he was. And woudln’t you know it, when they walked away Craig started asking about me too. Craig and I ended up meeting later and we hit it off! We dated for about 4-5 months, but our lives were taking different paths and our relationship ended. Now fast forward years later and Josh and Matt just happen to bring us back together, again ;) 2016 That 4th of July weekend I went with Matt to Horsethief Resevoir. Now years before I went boating with him and one of the engines went out. So he assured me this time that it was fixed and we wouldnt end up stranded again.... But wouldn’t you know it, one of the engines went out while we were in the middle of the lake! So sometime passed before we were rescued and towed back to the dock. Craig just happened to be at the dock waiting for Josh to arrive to go fishing. And when our boat was pulled around the corner to the docks, I saw him and his dad Craig Sr. standing there. Now I am known to have a flair for the dramatic (Duh, you see this story lol), and when I realized it was them I hollered out ‘The Craigs!’ as I posed like Captain Morgan ;) Once we docked, we talked and he went on his way to fish and we left for Dodge. But I just couldn’t get him out of my mind so I reached out that night. He just happened to be sticking around a few extra days, and well the rest is history! Some people say timing is everything, and in our case, it sure was! *Narrative approved by Craig ;)

As many of you know, wedding planning can be stressful! So we decided to skip the stress, and focus on what was important. us :) So on Saturday, the 14th of December, 2019, we married each other in Summit County Colorado, near Keystone. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone this April in our town of Longmont, CO!
