Maui Airport & Flights
The main airport in Maui is Kahului Airport (OGG) and is serviced by most major airlines (American, Delta, United, Southwest) as well as local airlines (Hawaiian and Mokulele) and a few others. Majority of flights to Maui will require a connection. Air travel time from the Midwest is approximately 12 hours, including a 2 hour connection time. Keep in mind Central Time is 4 hours ahead of Hawaiian Time in February.
House Or Rental
Accommodations
We will not have a hotel room block for guests. We recommend renting through Airbnb or VRBO; there are amazing condo and house rentals on the island, ranging from 1 guest up to 16 guests, at all different price points. Check out our "wish list" linked below for options and inspiration. For reference, the Sammis/Shafer families will be in a house in Napili. Kapalua, Ka'anapali, and Lahaina are towns just a short drive away with many additional options. If you prefer a hotel, most main brands have properties nearby as well.
