Lucky for you, this is literally right down the road from the event venue. Buck and his buddies spent a lot of time in these woods as kids. More recently, Buck and Rich have camped while bow hunting for elk. There are many great trails, incredible views and opportunities for seeing wildlife. If you have the time, we hope you'll plan to take a hike.
Each Colorado Mountain Town and National Park has a little something special to offer and there's also many great Passes to take to get there. Guanella Pass and Boreas Pass are two of our favorites! Depending on where you choose to go, you may also drive through Grant. This tiny town has an amazing little restaurant called Saggy Sheep, so make sure to stop in for a hand pie!
It's Colorado and we're not really in the business of growing grapes, so if you're really into wine lower your expectations. Go to enjoy delicious food, great service and (if it's a nice day) enjoy your meal along the river. Reservations are needed and we suggest calling a least a day in advance. They stay busy and can't always get to the phone, but they will call back.
A great place for lunch or dinner. We highly recommend the cheese curds, Ron's pizza (add the chicken or the shrimp and some diced tomatoes) and the Caesar salad. Really everything we have had is delicious and we're getting hungry just telling you about it.
