Question

COVID - What's the deal?

Answer

We have had enough 'yes' RSVPs to the celebration that we will be moving forward as planned. However, we have taken precautions to ensure you feel safe throughout the event! 1) Instead of renting a small space of Logboat Brewing Company for welcome drinks, we have rented out the entirety of their new location - Waves Cider Company! This means it will be open ONLY to folx coming for the event, and we will have plenty of space. 2) NO ONE - if they do come find me and I'll crack skulls - will complain or say A WORD about anyone who wants to wear a mask during the event. 3) The celebration venue is 55,000 sq ft. - it's huge - we will have PLENTY of room to spread out, and we will have more chairs and tables than guests to ensure you can move around and sit comfortably. 4) All utensils, cups, plates, etc. will be single-use. We are moving forward with buffet-style dinner, but we will have servers at the buffet so guests will not have to continuously touch serving utensils.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to an extremely expansive guest list, we have only invited children of family members. If you're a friend of Brad and/or Kari and traveling from out of town or can't find a babysitter for the evening, we should be able to accommodate extra kids - just let us know!

Question

Why a destination wedding?

Answer

With Brad's crazy work schedule and Kari finishing her PhD *and* running for office, we really have no time to plan a big wedding. Never fear! Our Columbia, MO after-party will be amazing!

Question

Is there a dress code for the post-wedding celebration?

Answer

No ragged t-shirts and ripped jeans, but other than no holes or stains, anything goes! The majority of guests will be in cocktail attire or dressy casual.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

See our registry tab above ~ we are registered on Zola, but there are links out to a few items from other vendors for you all on one page!

Question

Places to stay?

Answer

We currently have a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express just steps from our celebration venue (see travel tab for more information). We will be setting up additional room blocks as needed.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Ample parking will be available at our celebration venue and the Holiday Inn we have blocked for rooms provides free parking! If you choose to stay at a location in downtown Columbia, you may have to pay for overnight/valet parking.

Question

Where do I find a DRESS?!

Answer

Freaking out about what to wear? No problem! These are some of Kari's favorite party attire websites! Azazie: https://www.azazie.com/ Lulu's: https://www.lulus.com/ Modcloth: https://www.modcloth.com/
