We're celebrating again in June!

Our wedding day was filled with love, smiles, laughter, tears, and sunshine. We appreciate our close family and friends who celebrated with us. Photos will be updated on this site as we have them available. We are grateful for those who joined us virtually as well. We can't believe the day was so beautiful and is now a wonderful memory! We are excited to celebrate with a big reception on June 18, 2022. Please keep visiting this website for details as that date approaches! Until then, we hope you all are healthy and well.

On August 28, 2021, Kevin and Kari made the very difficult decision to downsize their day, due to concerns with COVID-19. June 18, 2022 is now the date for the celebration and reception! Kari and Kevin hope you can join them to celebrate when things are safer and appreciate everyone's support! The couple will still get married with their wedding party and close family present on September 18, 2021. A virtual option to watch their ceremony will be shared for those who would like to join in.

In October of 2019, Kari moved in with Kevin in Illinois, they adjusted quickly to daily life together. In March of 2020, Kari started a new job and they planned to go to Chicago for an overnight get-a-way the weekend of the 7th. Kari was tired on Saturday morning after her first week of training and asked Kevin if she could sleep awhile longer. Kevin agreed. Little did Kari know Kevin had been awake for a while. When Kari finally work up, Kevin started talking about their new life together. Kari was a little thrown off and wondered if he was talking about their current home search or her new job...when Kari finally realized what was happening she started to cry. Then she interrupted Kevin and asked, "Did you ask my mom?" Kari and Kevin had talk about how that was important. Kevin said yes and then asked Kari to marry him. She of course said yes! They both cried and looked at the ring for a while. Then in true Kevin and Kari fashion they got up, went to the gym and got coffee before leaving for the city.
