We're Getting Married!

Being from such a small town, we had always known of each other, but never formally met. That changed in early October of 2019 when Ike had so smoothly slid into the DM's, and after a little persistence, I agreed to an ice cream date with him and we have been inseparable since. A few weeks later we went to our first Penn State game together, where he asked me to be his girlfriend.. PSU got the win over Michigan and he got a girlfriend!

Ike had just accepted a new job and had a week off before starting so we decided to take a last minute vacation together to the Florida Keys before life got busy again. We were two days into our trip when Ike booked us what he thought was going to be a snorkeling charter. An hour into the charter we had done nothing but sightsee, and Ike had asked the captain if we were going to stop and snorkel anytime soon. Turns out there had been a miscommunication at booking and the captain thought we just wanted to do a sightseeing cruise. We were almost at our time limit and heading back to the marina at this point. The Captain felt horrible for the misunderstanding and to make it up to us he made a pit-stop at a private beach that you can only get to by boat so we could get out and explore before heading back. The beach (which was also in Stephen Kings backyard) was called Midnight Pass. It was secluded and beautiful. We walked up and down the beach a bit when we decided we take a few pictures together before heading back to the boat. Ike set up the camera and when we were posing for what I thought was just a picture, he dropped to one knee, and I said yes!  We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
