Due to capacity constraints, please bring only guests named on the invitation and in the RSVP form. We appreciate your understanding.

May I bring my children?

Answer

Children are welcomed to stay and celebrate throughout the weekend, but our ceremony through dinner hours will be child-free. On-site childcare* will be provided for those hours. If you are planning to bring your child(ren), please note that in your RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount for the sitters. *On-site childcare will be provided by Snappy Sitters, Riverhouse Lodge's go-to for event childcare. What should I wear?

Answer

For Friday evening's welcome party, please wear dressy casual attire. (Inspo: https://pin.it/7fvJMoi45). Please note that the welcome party is a 5-10 minute walk from guest rooms and will be outdoors (weather permitting), so a jacket is recommended. The walking path and welcome party site will be on hard ground (no grass, dirt, or gravel). For Saturday's ceremony + reception, please dress to impress! Wear formal attire, so ankle or floor-length dresses for the women and suits for the men. (Inspo: https://pin.it/1f8fHAKwx). Please note that the ceremony + cocktail hour will be outdoors, so a jacket is recommended. The reception will be indoors and is adjacent to the ceremony + cocktail hour space. The site is a 5-10 minute walk from guest rooms. The walking path, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place on hard ground (no grass, dirt, or gravel). For Sunday's farewell brunch, please wear casual/travel attire.

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

Do I need to drive from the hotel to the wedding site?

How does the hotel room block work?

Answer

Rooms are held at a discounted rate for our weekend guests. Please book your preferred room through this link: https://book.passkey.com/event/51167831/owner/49095888/home Rooms are booked on a first come, first served basis, so if there's a specific type of room you want we suggest you book early! If your preferred type of room is showing as unavailable through the block, please contact Riverhouse Lodge directly.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We ask all guests to arrive for the ceremony no later than 4:15 pm. Please note that the ceremony site is a 5-10 minute walk from guest rooms. If you have mobility issues and would prefer a shuttle to the ceremony site, please note it on your RSVP.

What is the distance between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

About 10 feet! Following the riverside ceremony, guests will enjoy cocktail hour on the deck followed by dinner + dancing inside the adjacent ballroom.

What is the weather usually like?

Answer

Bend, Oregon is known for having 300 days of sunshine a year! The historic average high is in the mid-to-low 60s and the historic average low is in the upper 30s.

Can I take photos or videos during the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask for the wedding ceremony to be "unplugged" (no phones out, leave the photos to the pros). All other times we encourage photos + videos!
