We flirted with each other via our respective stores' Twitter handles. That's a true story.
We're planning to keep things simple and small for the ceremony and dinner. It's important to us that this day be intimate and personal, and so we've chosen to actually exchange rings and eat our first meal as Married People with a small group of our nearest and dearest family and friends. We'd still love to celebrate with you, though, which is why we're opening the doors after dinner for drinks, snacks and a party! (Will Dylan sing? Will John cry? Probably.) Can't make it? We totally get it. We'd love to celebrate with you next time we see you!
We're doing the damn thing at the Bird in Loring Park, a brunch spot we love that's just down the street from our cute downtown apartment. We actually got engaged right after a birthday brunch for Sam at the Bird! We love our neighborhood and wanted to throw a party somewhere we actually spend a lot of time.
