FAQs

You got questions? We got answers. Did we forget something? You're probably overthinking this. It's a wedding, we're all here to have fun.
Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We want this to be your weekend off too so if it's possible to leave the kids at home it will help free up your time to celebrate and party with us!

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Both! If the weather cooperates we are planning to have the ceremony outside on the patio. The reception will be a mix of inside and outside. We'll eat inside, but you are free to roam the patio for some fresh air if needed.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We're all aiming to look nice here, put a little extra effort in for a wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP on our website it will show if you have a guest. If not, take your guest out to dinner the following weekend!

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a limited number of parking spaces available at the venue. If you intend to drive to the wedding, plan to get to the venue a little earlier. However, we would recommend taking an Uber or Lyft or public transportation.

Question

Which airport is better to fly into?

Answer

Either O'Hare or Midway airports will be fine. The venue and hotels are pretty equidistant between the two.

Question

What hotel should I plan to stay at?

Answer

We have made accommodations for our guests at the Royal Sonesta in downtown Chicago and the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Both hotels are along the river and only a 5 minute walk from each other! They are about 15 minutes away from the venue. Look at the Travel tab on our website for more information about booking a room.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

While we don't mind you taking photos during the reception, we ask that you put away your phones/cameras for the ceremony. We'd be happy to share the photos our photographer takes.

Question

Will this wedding be any fun?

Answer

We sure hope so. Whenever a vendor asked us what we were most excited for at the wedding we both agreed that it was the party. We're gonna have food, drinks, and dancing. And we'll look damn good too. So the chances of this thing being fun are pretty high up there.
