Uptown
Uptown is the neighborhood closest to the wedding venue and hotel. It is a posh, trendy area with a lot of bars and restaurants. The West Village is a large shopping area in Uptown, with a lot of casual restaurants and trendy big box stores. Along McKinney Ave. there are many locally-owned restaurants and bars. Karen loves Crushcraft, Hopdoddy's, and Chuy's. Uptown es el barrio más próximo al lugar donde se llevará a cabo las celebraciones de la boda y el hotel. Es un área elegante y dinámica con excelentes opciones de bares y restaurantes locales. También cuenta con un área de comercio llamada The West Village con muchos restaurantes y tiendas reconocidas. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
This museum is dedicated to the life and assassination of JFK. It overlooks Dealey Plaza where the President was assassinated, and is right in the middle of downtown Dallas. Perot Museum of Nature and Science
This is a brand new, interactive, very cool science museum! It's great for adults and kids alike. Este es un museo nuevo, interactivo y muy interesante para adultos y niños.
Deep Ellum
Deep Ellum is the hub of nightlife and street art in Dallas. There are lots of cool murals all over the neighborhood as well as fun bars, restaurants, and dessert spots. Some of our favorite places include Brain Dead Brewing, Ruins, Pecan Lodge, Canne Rosso, Le Bon Temps, Picole Pops, and Emporium Pies. Deep Ellum es el centro de la vida nocturna y el arte callejero en Dallas, incluyendo murales y bares, restaurantes y pastelerías locales. Klyde Warren Park
This huge public park is located on top of a highway overpass (similar to the Highline in NYC). There are food trucks, a restaurant, lawn games, and board games that you can rent for free. It's a really fun place to take kids or hang out with friends if the weather is nice! Este gigantesco parque público está localizado encima de una carretera (muy similar al Highline en Nueva York). Dallas Museum Of Art
Dallas' largest art museum has a great collection, and is situated in the Arts District. It is right next door to many other art museums including the Crow Collection and the Nasher Sculpture Center. Bishop Arts District
Bishop Arts is located about 10 minutes south of downtown, and is known for its independent boutiques, art galleries, historic architecture, and local restaurants. Some of our favorite Dallas shops are in this neighborhood and include The Bishop Street Market, The Wild Detectives and Spinster Records. Some standout restaurants include Lockhart Barbeque, Eno's Pizza, Bolsa, and Emporium Pies.
