Karen met Wayne via the Match app as both had been looking for a special someone to connect with to enjoy the simple things in life. This all started one Sunday afternoon as Wayne reached out to a few select women in search of finding that 'someone' - Karen being one of them. Then... After texting via the app for a week or so, Wayne asked for Karen’s phone number. Karen is not a phone talker, and Wayne is - so it took some doing for Wayne to wrestle Karen’s phone number out of her. You see Karen's prior experience with Match dates yielded some not-so-appealing voices on the other end, so she was hesitant. Wayne continued to drive the phone number talk until Karen finally gave in. Within minutes of receiving Karen’s number, Wayne was calling. Karen answered the call and to her surprise, Wayne had a very deep, radio type voice. Karen was happy to hear this. After talking for some time, they agreed to meet up the following weekend. Karen only had time for a short meeting and since they both belonged to LifeTime fitness, they decided to meet at the gym; yes, the gym. Karen had a busy weekend and that was the only opportunity. So like a fool, Karen agreed to meet after a morning class and also let him know that she would be there early to warm up on a treadmill before class if Wayne wanted to meet then. Silly, silly girl. What was she thinking??? Well, while Karen was on that treadmill, she was beating herself up wondering why she did this. Karen had been on several match dates and none were working out - so she figured if he doesn't like her like this - he is not the guy. Karen was looking around for Wayne before class and luckily he didn't show. Whew! As Karen was finishing up her class, between the sweaty hair and droplets in her eyes she noticed Wayne. He was there and she was a sweaty mess! Well that is where it started...
