Maid of Honor
Melaina is Karen's youngest sister. She is currently in school at Iowa State university pursuing her degree in graphic design and set to graduate in May 2026. You'll always find her with friends - studying, traveling, or taking photos. Her bubbly personality means you'll always find her on the dance floor.
Best Man
Colin was one of the first friends Tyler made when he moved to Minnesota in first grade. Years later, Colin and Tyler both attended Iowa State, rooming together sophomore through senior year. Colin currently lives in Woodbury with his wife, Betsy and daughters Eleanor, and Julia.
Bridesmaid
Kelly is Karen's middle sister. She recently graduated from Iowa State University with her degree in business management. Married in May 2025, she and her husband, Josh, are starting their life in Ames, this fall while he finishes his degree in industrial technology and wraps up ROTC.
Groomsman
Alex is Tyler's older cousin and best friend since birth. Growing up, Tyler never lived in the same city as Alex but they've always stayed close and kept up over the years. Alex and Tyler bonded over their love of football, playing music, and comedy. Alex lives in St. Louis, MO where he works for the Army and plays in the metal band, Grindylow.
Bridesmaid
Addie is Tyler's younger sister. She is currently working as a veterinary assistant and pursing becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. Shortly after working with animals Addie took in a newborn kitten named Winnie. Karen will be Addie's first sister! They have bonded over their love of cats, music, and art.
Groomsman
Carter, Tyler's younger bother, lives in his newly purchased home in Buffalo, Minnesota with his dog, Ochii. A car lover, he's own some impressive vehicles and works at a Ford dealership. He and Karen have bonded over their shared love of F1 racing and have become fast friends.
Bridesmaid
Vanessa is one of Karen's friends from high school and college. Her and her husband, Nate, have two boys, Lawrence and Vinny, and live in Polk City, IA around the block from Karen's parents. Visits with them include visiting their chickens and dogs and making lattes, an art learned while Karen and Vanessa worked together at Nate's mom's cafe in high school.
Groomsman
John met Tyler during their freshman year at Iowa State, and their friendship grew even stronger after Tyler moved to John's hometown of Milwaukee, post college. They often go to concerts together and bond over their shared interests - though John's die hard loyalty to the Packers has sparked some friendly rivalry with Tyler, a devoted Bears fan. John is a writer for Visit Milwaukee.
Bridesmaid
Karen and Emily met in Minnesota where Emily lives with her husband, Carter. While only overlapping in friendship for four months before Karen moved to Milwaukee they have remained close friends. Emily and Carter love to travel and spend time with their dogs, cat, and rotating foster dogs.
Groomsman
Eric is one of Tyler's friends from Iowa State University. He lived across the hall from Tyler and Colin sophomore year and has been a fun presence since. Eric currently lives in Mundelein, IL and has started DJing events.
