Rocky Mountain National Park
One of our first national parks just a short drive from Lyons
Estes Park
If you have a free day during your visit, don’t miss one of our greatest National Parks. At the foot of the park is the town of Estes Park that features a tourist-y Main Street with shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops and—for some reason—salt water taffy. The iconic Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for Stephen King’s “The Shining” is also located in Estes Park. The park itself features wildlife, waterfalls, mountain vistas and hikes ranging from intermediate to expert.

Located directly across the street from A-lodge, this is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Live music and late night drinks on the weekends.

St Vrain Market, Deli & Bakery
For those visiting from out of town, this would be a great place to stock up your kitchenette. Located just one block from A-Lodge this market also features a deli. Just a few more steps and you can dine by the St. Vrain River at the picturesque Lavern M. Johnson Park

Don’t miss this short walk from A-Lodge. The park is well manicured and sits on the banks of the St. Vrain. Picnic tables, restrooms, parking, and some intermediate trails would make this a lovely morning walk.

Sitting directly across the street from A-Lodge, this arcade may be a fun place for any of our younger guests.
