Does your venue have parking?

Answer

D.A.R does not have a private parking lot - there is limited pay-to-park street parking available around the venue. Ride Shares are highly recommended. The Willard does offer valet parking for a daily rate of $37 per car. Guests are welcome to park at the Willard Hotel and take our provided transportation to the wedding venue!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Depending on the weather in DC - our ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing will take place outside while dinner will be inside. In case of rain, everything will be moved inside.

What's the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding, we ask that all guests wear formal, black-tie attire, if possible. For men, we'd prefer a tuxedo, but your nicest suit and tie will work. Ladies, floor-length gowns, please. Average temperature in DC the first week of August is 86 degrees.

4:15PM: Pick Up at Willard Intercontinental 4:25PM: Drop off at DAR *** 9:30PM: First Loop Back to Willard 11:15PM: Final Loop Back to Willard
