We met on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Baton Rouge. It was a spring night at Radio Bar when Peter, being the gentleman that he is, stepped aside to let Karen skip him in the line to order a drink. We got to talking and quickly learned we share common interests such as working out, and even have some mutual friends! After hitting it off so well, Peter knew he had to find a way to keep in touch with Karen. When it came time for her to leave, Peter made SURE she accepted his friend request on Instagram before she walked out the door. Peter played his cards right, and slipped into Karen's DM's where we kept in touch until a couple of weeks later when we went on our first date. And the rest is history!

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, Peter popped the question, at Hemmingbough in St. Francisville. As Peter and Karen were walking through the grounds and gardens of Hemmingbough, they stopped at a lovely amphitheater and arch overlooking a lake. That was the moment when Peter dropped down on one knee and turned bright red before he said, "Will you marry me?" Karen had been waiting and waiting for this moment and she excitedly said, "YES!" Then they sealed it with a kiss. We're so excited to enter into this next chapter of our lives together, and we're so grateful to be able to celebrate it with you!
