We’re both originally from Northern California and, on separate paths, found our way to Long Beach—never imagining how close our worlds already were. Thanks to a mutual friend, those worlds finally collided, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Our love story began in Long Beach on September 15, 2019, the day we became boyfriend and girlfriend. In 2022, we took a leap together and moved to South Texas, where we now share a beautiful home and careers at SpaceX. On September 15, 2023, Paul planned a picnic at the Grand Canyon and asked me to put some music on. The first song—by Outkast—was quickly skipped because it definitely wasn’t the vibe. The next song, Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton, was our song. Paul asked me to close my eyes, and when I opened them, he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. I screamed “YES!”—followed by lots of jumping, hugging… and accidentally stomping all over our picnic lunch. While planning our wedding amid busy schedules, we chose an intimate elopement with our immediate family on November 26, 2025—a moment filled with love, intention, and meaning. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage in Italy, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Our love story has always been—and will forever be—our greatest adventure.
