Marcela and I met as 6th graders in our hometown of Arlington, VA. It wasn't until our sophomore year of high school that we became inseparable. From then on we have cheered each other through many milestones and no matter the distance, her friendship has been a bedrock in my life. I am honored to be the godmother to her beautiful, smart and spunky daughter Ela. My life would be utterly incomplete without my best friend, Marcela.

Best Man
I met Ben at the Naval Academy - I was being yelled at for some BS and I looked across and saw this other guy being yelled at for some BS. I think we both thought of each other - “He ain’t gonna make it.” Twenty-five years later, here we are. I’ve been blessed to stand next to him when he got married, see him and Karina (Karina mostly) show what a great, joyous, and work-filled thing marriage can be, and see him become a dad two times - raising two of the best kids I’ve met. I'm a terrible friend - I don't call, or answer the phone, and I forget things - and despite that Ben has always been there for me. I'm honored to have him be there for me again on this special day.
