The Wedding Website of Leila Christenson and Karen Cortez
Here are a few of our favorite restaurants in Mexico City—but don’t stop here! The city’s culinary scene is incredible, from mouthwatering street food to world-class fine dining. Everything is going to be amazing!

Eno

Chihuahua 139, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Roma Norte. Try the chilaquiles, the conchas and the iced cafe de olla.

Lalo!

Zacatecas 173, Roma Nte

A casual and trendy breakfast spot in Roma Norte.

Tacos Orinoco

Av. Álvaro Obregón 100, Roma Nte.

Tacos Orinoco in Mexico City is a popular taquería known for its delicious Monterrey-style tacos, featuring flavorful meats, handmade tortillas, and a signature red-and-white retro aesthetic. (They also have other locations in the city!)

Pujol

Tennyson 133, Polanco

Pujol, one of Mexico City's most prestigious restaurants, is celebrated for chef Enrique Olvera's innovative approach to traditional Mexican cuisine, with standout dishes like the legendary mole madre. Due to its worldwide acclaim, reservations are essential and should be made well in advance to secure a table.

Molino "El Pujol"

Gral. Benjamín Hill 146, Hipódromo Condesa,

If you don't get reservations at Pujol and even if you do this is an adorable little spot to get breakfast by the same chef as Pujol in the Condesa neighborhood. They have amazing conchas, handmade tortillas and all sorts of other items to try! We recommend sharing a bunch of things together so that you get to taste a variety of flavors. This is a very small place so be prepared to wait a bit, especially if there are more of you.

Contramar

Dgo. 200, Roma Nte.

Delicious restaurant in Roma Norte for seafood lovers with delicious dishes like tuna tostadas and grilled fish in a laid-back but stylish setting.

Azul Condesa

Nuevo Leon 68 Colonia Condesa

Azul Condesa in the Condesa neighborhood offers a charming and vibrant dining experience, serving contemporary Mexican cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients in a stylish, cozy setting. Their tortilla soup is really yummy and they also have really good cocktails and traditional hot chocolates.

Quintonil

Av. Isaac Newton 55, Polanco

Quintonil is one of Mexico Cities top fine dine restaurants that offers a refined, innovative take on Mexican cuisine, showcasing fresh local ingredients with a focus on bold, contemporary flavors. This one you also need to make a reservation far in advance.

Panaderia Rosetta

Colima 179, Roma Nte.

A delicious bakery in Roma Norte famous for its breads, pasteries, and delicious quiches. Great for breakfast or a midday/evening snack!

El Moro

Multiple locations

This is a historic churrería founded in 1935, famous for its crispy, golden churros and rich hot chocolate. If you are dying to try a churro there are multiple locations across the city so find the closest one to you!
